Sushi, cocktails, and Salem-night energy

"I wasn’t exactly looking for a sushi restaurant when we stopped but I loved the cute little sign out front as well as the quirky name; and I’m definitely happy I did. The sushi rolls were amazing, drinks were beyond compare, and the service that we received was excellent. The prices were also phenomenal and we left so full with money still in the bank. My servers joked with us, and provided us with a map of the city so we knew which spots to hit up. 10/10 Would recommend this as one of the best restaurants In Salem!"

"If i could give this place more than 5 stars,I would. The food is outstanding, Helen had Nachos with pulled Pork(appetiser.) As a main course, I had the Steak Tips. The best meal we've had since we got here 5 days ago. So good in fact we will be going back tomorrow night. The waitress (we will get her name tomorrow) was lovely, she chatted with us for a while and told us about places to go and also places to eat. We asked for Mojitos even though they were not on the cocktail list, and they made us a couple, very nice too. If ever you come to Salem, EAT HERE!!!! Ok so we did go back and it was just as good again. Our waitress tonight was Vanessa (last night was Juliana.) Helen had caesar salad with Salmon and I had the Braised Short Ribs,Both were excellent, along with a couple of Mojitos. This is a great place, with lovely staff."

"Came in for mother's day in the early afternoon. It was not busy but there were guests, all seemingly sitting in one cluster of the establishment or at the bar. My son has autism. He talks alot and is sometimes loud. We got his order in before ours but the waitress was very annoyed by my 5 year old. Rolling her eyes and just very unfriendly. When we placed our order I had a few questions about a sushi roll and she said it was spicy but very good. I handle spice, this was almost inedible. Not her mess up but not once did she ask about our meals. Only refilled my water once, after I was using another water from the table. The kitchen forgot sauce on one of the burgers. The other sushi order was fine. Everything seemed to lack some flavor. The wings (sesame ginger) were crispy and yummy... but the side sauce was weird. The little cup was hardly enough for 4 people so I go more on the side. The chairs and table were dirty when we were seated. We had to wipe them down. We finished our meal but the service made us skip dessert and go elsewhere. The staircase to the restroom was poorly lit for daytime use and my child had a hard time seeing walking down the stairs. Bathrooms were filthy including the changing table which was drawn all over with sharpies. I had higher hopes for this place but was very let down."

"This place was so good. First time here and came in looking for some vegetarian options - and man do they deliver. The pesto app was so fresh and delicious. The sushi - omg - amazing. The pineapple and eel sauce was a perfect combo on there. Everything was so delicate. Our waitress was so sweet, exceptional attention to our table. She was awesome. Oh, if you like sour tart beers, try this one. Damn, that was delicious."
